Is my marriage worth saving?
by sacdfan inlong story - will make it short - i was a jw for 4 years.
hy husband took to it straigt away and has been a jw for 20 years - we were both converted by one of his workmates.
our 4 kids were all baptised jws and thankfully 3 escaped (2 disfellowshipped, one fading) - so my eldest son is still in with his dad.

You are the only one that can make that decision. Sorry I can't be of more help. I stuffed it down until I couldn't any longer. Fortunately I got out with my family intact when my wife and I got on the same page at the same time. If we hadn't been on the same page, I could still be stuck like you. I can't even imagine the pain that the ones that have been born in go through.

Which generation do you belong to ?
by edmond dantes inask a witness which generation do you belong to and see if they really know how to answer.. i have decided that every time i hear a true definition of the meaning of a generation i will post it here just to reinforce the true meaning just in case a stray jw happens to look in on here.. yesterday evening i was watching an antiques programme on the television and under discussion was a very well made baby high chair from about the nineteen thirties and the approximate date of manufacture and the length of time it had been in the family.
the expert then went on to confim how old it was and in doing so said that considering who first purchased the chair and the length of a generation that it was from the thirties and went on to say that we consider a generation to be about 25 years.. that is a truer definition of a generation than a watchtower definition.. .

That was one of the better chicken raisers. I use to work on alarm systems and I hated going to decalb chicken houses. You have to put on a suit to keep the chickens from getting sick. Lights are on 23 hours a day. You can't breath because of the amonia. The amonia causes the coating on the alarm wires to start dripping off then wires to corode. I hated going their more than the hog farms.

Worried about my friend
by pharmer ini have a friend who has been a jw for a couple years (baptized).
she might have to undergo gallbladder surgery.
i'm worried for her (about the blood issues)and have made that known.

It's good to inform your freind but I'm with AnnOMally on this one. Finally Awake had the same surgery and it's was all done laparoscopicly. The recovery was quick with no complications.
